Breaking News: MS Dhoni Announces Retirement From International Cricket

New Delhi: MS Dhoni, former India skipper and two-time World Cup winner, announced his retirement on Saturday (August 15) in an Instagram post.

“Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout. from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired (sic)”, read the post of the formal announcement.

Dhoni started his career in 2004 and he is the only captain in the cricket history to win all the International Cricket Council (ICC) trophies.

There is an uncanny similarity between his debut and his last match in the International Cricket. In his debut match in 2004 and his last match with New Zealand in 2019 in ICC World Cup he got ran out and India lost the match.

Dhoni is expected to play in the upcoming IPL 2020 in the UAE he was spotted today arriving in Chennai for Chennai Super Kings’ training camp before they fly out.
