Mumbai: Veteran actress and a member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kirron Kher is suffering from blood cancer.
According to the latest reports, her colleague and Chandigarh BJP president Anup Sood confirmed that the 68-year-old is suffering from multiple myeloma, a kind of blood cancer. Her treatment is undergoing in Kokilaben’s Hospital since last year.
Sood further stated that the actress is on the recovery lane while undergoing treatment for the disease. As per reports, her disease has “receded from her arm and shoulder.” She is being examined by a phenomenal set of doctors.
During a specially-convened conference on Wednesday, Sood stated “she had a suffered a broken left arm at her Chandigarh house on November 11 last year. After her test, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh, she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. The disease has spread from her left arm and right shoulder. For her treatment, she had to go to Mumbai on December 4.”
“Even though she is recovering from her four-month treatment and is no longer admitted to the Kokilaben’s Hospital in Mumbai still she has to visit the hospital regularly for her treatment” he further added.
