Kolkata: Here’s a piece of extremely urgent news for State Bank of India (SBI) customers.
The bank has alerted its 44 crore customers by tweeting that if Aadhaar and PAN are not linked before June 30, there may be problems in completing a transaction.
The SBI tweeted that linking Aadhaar and PAN is mandatory. If Aadhaar and PAN are not linked, the PAN card will become inactive. And customers will face problems in money transactions.
The last date for linking PAN and Aadhaar is set on June 30. “We advise our customers to pan and link so that their banking services do not have any problems,” State Bank tweeted.
The deadline for linking PAN and Aadhaar has been extended to June 30 by the central government.
In July 2018, the government has decided to link PAN and Aadhaar. Since then, the deadline for Aadhaar-Pan Link has been extended more than once by the Centre.
