Chandigarh: A law providing 75 per cent reservation in the private sector jobs has already come into effect in Haryana. This is in accordance with one of the key poll promises from Dushyant Chautala’s Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), BJP’s coalition partner in the state.
The rule regarding 75 per cent reservation in private jobs came into effect on Saturday, January 15.
“Today is a historic day for the youth as from now priority for jobs would be given to the youth of Haryana in all private sector companies, institutions, trusts, societies and industries established in the state,” Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Chautala was quoted as saying by news agency IANS on Sunday.
“With the implementation of this system, new avenues for employment will open for lakhs of youth in the private sector,” Chautala was quoted as saying in an official statement.
