New Delhi: Singer Adnan Sami and actor Kangana Ranaut received their Padma Shri awards at a ceremony here on Monday.
President Ram Nath Kovind gave away the Padma honours for 2020 at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in the national capital.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah too graced the occasion. The awards will presented in four ceremonies conducted over two days.
The list of Bollywood awardees includes filmmakers Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor. Late singer SP Balasubrahmanyam will receive the Padma Vibhushan award posthumously.
Dressed in a gold saree, Kangana Ranaut was pictured being presented the Padma Shri by President Kovind.
