Kolkata: Bengal cricket team head coach Arun Lal insisted that one needs to learn from the past and move on in order to improve.
The well-prepared Bengal side is having its training session at JU Second campus for their upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy campaign. Asked about how Bengal is preparing for Vijay Hazare Trophy after crashing out of Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament from group stage Bengal coach Arun Lal said, “You learn from the past and move on. You can’t hold baggage of the previous years or the previous tournament. It’s a dynamic game, you move on, you learn from you mistakes, losses and forget about it. We are preparing very hard for the next.”
Lal was satisfied with the preparation. “The preparation is going really well. The boys are working hard. I think there’s the best preparation from every aspect, because the facilities are great and everybody is taking it very seriously. I am very satisfied with the training sessions and preparations,” Arun Lal was quoted as saying by a CAB media release.

Meanwhile, as part of preparation Bengal played a practice match at the JU second campus ground in which Team A won by five wickets over Team B.
