Asian Champions Trophy Hockey: India Pip Pakistan, Settle For Bronze

Dhaka: The Indians continued their dominance over arch-rivals Pakistan in hockey when they beat Pakistan 4-3 in a thrilling encounter to clinch a bronze in the Asian Champions Trophy here on Wednesday.

India turned the tide in their favour despite having to play with nine men for the final few minutes.

In the group league too, India had conquered Pakistan 3-1 five days ago.

Both India and Pakistan suffered heart-breaking losses in their respective semi-finals on Tuesday. While India lost 3-5 to Japan while Pakistan were pipped by South Korea 5-6.
