Mumbai: Mr Perfectionist and Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has been praised for his generosity after he extended a helping hand to Assam in the state’s flood relief.
Assam facing a severe crisis due to floods. About 21 lakh people remain in distress due to the calamity. Aamir has chipped in with a huge donation of Rs 25 lakh to the CM Relief Fund of Assam.
Assam Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, seemed touched by his generosity and thanked the superstar on Twitter.
“Eminent Bollywood actor Amir Khan extended a helping hand to the flood-affected people of our State by making a generous contribution of 25 lakh towards CM Relief Fund. My sincere gratitude for his concern and act of generosity,” Sarma tweeted.
