Ujjain: Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s new film ‘Brahmastra’ is set to release on Friday, September 9. So, Alia Bhatt Ranbir Kapoor visited Baba Mahakaleshwar to pray at the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. But they had to face extreme anger at the temple’s main entrance.
The Bajrang Dal blocked their path and chaos was witnessed. Director Ayan Mukherjee was also with Ranbir-Alia.
At last, the representatives of Bajrang Dal were dispersed by the cops and the three stars were safely taken to the collector’s house in Ujjain. “We will never allow Ranbir Kapoor to enter the temple because he made derogatory comments about ‘Mother Cow’. He said eating beef is good,” Bajrang Dal official Ankit Choubey was quoted as saying in the section of media.
“We are here to show him a black flag. We will not allow a beef-eater to enter the temple. And the administration will also have to answer how beef-eaters were allowed to enter the temple,” Ankit added.
Besides Alia-Ranbir, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna Akkineni and many others have acted in the film. The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
