New Delhi: BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia and his mother Madhavi Raje Scindia have been tested positive for COVID-19 and are admitted at a city hospital in South Delhi’s Saket, according to reports. While Jyotiraditya has shown symptoms, his mother remains asymptotic and both of them are undergoing treatment for the last four days.
Earlier, the BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon showing symptoms of the deadly virus on May 28. However, he was discharged from the hospital when the reports came negative. A day after his discharge Patra tweeted today, “I have returned home thanks to the good wishes from all of you. However, complete recovery will take some more time.”
Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has tested negative for COVID-19 after reports came out on Tuesday evening. He developed a fever and sore throat on Sunday (June 7) and had undergone the test. Aam Aadmi Party sources had said that the Delhi Chief Minister was feeling slightly better. India has recorded 2,73,860 COVID 19 cases, out of which 1,33,764 have recovered and 7,696 have deceased.
