Calcutta Hockey League 2021: East Bengal, ERSA Register Thumping Wins

Kolkata: Playing the Calcutta Hockey League after 19 long years, East Bengal Club managed to win their two opening matches of the league.

After beating Police AC 2-1 last Friday, East Bengal trounced another police team, West Bengal Police 4-0 with Gurjinder Singh netting a brace in their first division Group A match of the league on Monday.

In another match, ERSA routed Entally AC 9-0 with Aman Tirkey finding the target thrice.

Results: East Bengal 4 (Gurjinder Singh 2 goals, Manpreet, Raman) beat West Bengal Police 0; ERSA 9 (Aman Tirkey 3 goals, Alsem Lakra 2 goals, Md Riyazuddin 2 goals, Waseem Khan, Bipin Kerketta) beat Entally AC 0
