New Delhi: The former head of India’s largest stock exchange, Chitra Ramkrishna, is under interrogation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) regarding the infamous ‘tick by tick’ market manipulation case, NDTV quoted sources as saying on Friday.

An FIR was lodged in the case earlier but fresh facts have come to the fore since, which is why Ramkrishna is being quizzed, said the sources.

The CBI has also posted notices against Ramkrishna, former COO Anand Subramaniam, and her predecessor Ravi Narayan, to not allow them from leaving the country.

CEO and Managing Director of the National Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2016, Ramkrishna, is also under probe for an alleged “glaring breach” of regulations. She quit for “personal reasons” in 2016. She is accused of sharing confidential financial data with a ‘yogi’ living in the Himalayas.
