Kolkata: Chandannagar girl Piyali Basak conquered Mount Everest without oxygen early on Sunday morning. Piyali touched the peak at 8.30 am. The 31-year-old became the first woman from India to conquer the world’s highest peak without oxygen.
Piyali set out to conquer Everest On May 3. Basant Singh Roy, who has earlier achieved the feat, said that there are no words to describe the success. “I also climbed Everest.
