Turin: Portuguese Football star Christiano Ronaldo, who tested positive for COVID-19 but didn’t show any symptoms, has revealed how he is trying to beat the virus.

Ronaldo has kept himself under self-isolation before returning to link up with the Juventus squad.

The 35-year old has recently shared that he regularly sits under the sun to beat the coronavirus.

During his live session on Instagram, he urged his fans and followers all around the world to ‘not to be afraid’ of coronavirus. He also shared some tips to prevent contamination.

According to reports by a British tabloid, The Sun, during a live session on Instagram, Ronaldo said, “The sun helps a lot. People don’t have that perception, but it does a lot of good. When I get the chance, I do some sunbathing. In Turin, it is more difficult, but I always try to get 20 or 30 minutes of sunshine. I love being on my terrace soaking up the sun, it’s very important. Eat well, lots of vegetables, lots of greens and don’t abuse sweets to have a strong immune system. I urge you not to be afraid of the virus — face the reality, but respect it.”

A Portugal statement read, “The Portuguese international is doing well, without symptoms, and in isolation.

“Following the positive case, the remaining players underwent new tests this Tuesday morning, all with a negative result, and are available to Fernando Santos for training this afternoon, in Cidade do Futebol.”
