New York: Daniil Medvedev shocked World Number 1 Novak Djokovic 6-4 6-4 6-4 to win the US Open at the Flushing Meadows today.
Djokovic’s dream to win a record 21st men’s Grand Slam singles title and be the third among men to bag all the Majors in a year was dashed by the Russian who won his maiden Grand Slam title at the Flushing Meadows.
