Washington: Earlier on Friday, US President Donald Trump said he and First Lady Melania have been tested positive for the coronavirus.
“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”, Trump took to Tweeter.

President is “well” and will continue with his duties “without disruption” while in quarantine with the first lady, said the president’s physician.
They “are both well at this time and they plan to remain home at the White House during their convalescence”, said doctor Sean Conley in a statement.

On Thursday, Trump claimed he would go into quarantine after his top advisor Hope Hicks tested positive for coronavirus.
After he tested positive for COVID-19, the White House withdrew Florida campaign trip from Trump’s schedule.
