New Delhi: SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) and India wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha urged people on Friday to not spread rumours that he was still Covid-positive. He said that it was still inconclusive as one test had come positive and the other negative.
There were reports that the gloveman had tested positive for the deadly virus a second time.
“Feeling much better”, Saha tweeted. “My quarantine period is still not over. As a part of the routine check-up, 2 tests were done; out of which 1 was negative and the other one came as positive. Otherwise, I am doing much better. Requesting everyone not to spread misleading stories/information without the whole context,” the veteran Bengal cricketer, who is quarantined in Delhi, said via the social networking site.
Saha had tested Covid-19 positive hours before SRH were to play Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on May 4, the same day when the cash-rich league was postponed indefinitely.
