New Delhi: Delhi and its adjoining areas felt tremors around 8 pm on Saturday. The tremors prompted people to come out of their homes and offices.
This is the second such earthquake felt in this region in the last few days. Nepal was again the epicentre. The magnitude was 5.4 on the Richter Scale, according to the report from the National Centre for Seismology.
According to Nepal’s earthquake monitoring authority, the epicentre was near Patadewal in Bajhang district and the exact time was 8.12 pm local time (7.57 IST). “This is the fifth earthquake in Nepal in the last three days with an intensity of 4 or above,” said the authority.
