Patiala: Congress MP, Rahul Gandhi, shoot another attack at Modi government regarding the controversial farm laws which were recently passed by Parliament.
He called the farm laws an attack on farmers which will destroy food security in the country.
At Patiala, where farmers are protesting against the farm laws, Rahul Gandhi addressed the media and said, “The introduction of farm laws by Modi government is a way to destroy the existing structure of food security and it is going to affect the state of Punjab the most. It is an attack on our farmers.”
He accused Modi government for destroying small and medium scaled businesses during the lockdown, that are the backbone of India’s economy and gives employment to labourers.

“I had warned about COVID-19 in February but they said I was joking”, he mentioned on labourers’ condition during the coronavirus lockdown.
Rahul said, “If the BJP-led Union Government succeeds in breaking the backbone of the farmers, the entire nation will be enslaved by industrialists like Ambani and Adani”, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi for destroying the Mandi and MSP system, the strength of India’s agriculture sector.
“The Modi government is doing to India what the East India Company of the British did,” he added further.
