Kalyani: FC Goa continued their brilliant run and played a dominant game throughout the 90 minutes to rout Delhi FC 5-1 in the 130th Durand Cup quarterfinals at the Kalyani Stadium on Friday.
Goals from Devendra Murgaokar, Muhammed Nemil and Brandon Fernandez before the lemon break and Leander D’Cunha and Romario Jesuraj after it meant an easy outing for the Goans. Delhi pulled one back via Nikhil Mali.
The Gaurs will play the second semi-final on Wednesday, September 29 at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (VYBK) in Kolkata. They await the winners of the fourth and final quarterfinal game between fellow ISL side Bengaluru FC and Army Green on Saturday.
