Kolkata: After West Bengal Assembly Speaker Biman Bandyopadhyay suspended five BJP MLAs, including Shuvendu Adhikari, on Monday, Governor Jagdeep Dhankar wrote to the Speaker to withdraw the suspension.
It may be recalled that a scuffle between Trinamool-BJP MLAs took place in the Assembly and the MLAs were suspended accordingly. The suspended BJP MLAs then approached Governor Jagdeep Dhankar with a appeal to the suspension.
