Kolkata: Former Australia coach Greg Chappell, who has had a history of controversy with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief Sourav Ganguly, has reportedly enquired about the health condition of former Indian skipper. Chappell, according to reports from ABP, wished Ganguly, ‘a speedy recovery’.
In another development, Indian cardiac surgeon Devi Shetty is coming with his nine-member team of doctors to take further decision on whether angioplasty is to be done or not.
According to reports, renowned doctor Ramakant Panda will be also be monitoring Ganguly.
For now, doctors have prescribed blood thinner for the 48-year-old.
While exercising in the gym last on Saturday morning, Ganguly had a minor heart attack and was immediately rushed to Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata.
