Hours After Giving Anti-Corruption Speech, ACB DSP Caught Taking Bribe

Jaipur: Anti-Corruption Bureau DSP of Rajasthan, Bheru Lal Meena has been caught taking a bribe of Rs 80,000. The arrest came just after a few hours his speech on International Anti-Corruption Day in Sawai Madhopur.

A team of Jaipur’s ACB headquarter arrested Meena for accepting a bribe of Rs 80,000 from a district transport officer (DTO) Mahesh Chand in Sawai Madhopur.

According to DG, ACB BL Soni, the accused was deputed as the ACB chowki incharge in Sawaimadhopur.

Meena was demanding monthly payments from DTO (Sawaimadhopur) Mahesh Chand.

“We have been receiving complaints against him for the past 2-3 months and he was on our radar”, said the officer, as quoted by Lokmat.

“We verified the complaint and a trap was laid.”

Meena was caught red-handed accepting the bribe from Mahesh Chand.
