ICC U-19 World Cup: Bengal Seamer Ravi Kumar Picked To Represent India

Kolkata: Bengal U-19 left-arm fast bowler Ravi Kumar has been picked to represent India in the upcoming ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup to be held in the West Indies.

Another Bengal player Amrit Raj Upadhyay has also been drafted in as stand by for the tournament.

“Ravi is a very talented cricketer. He has been performing consistently for the team. His selection is a recognition of his consistency and talent. I am confident that he will do well in days to come and will make Bengal and India proud with his performance. I wish him the very best,” said CAB president Avishek Dalmiya was quoted as saying in a press release.

The Squad: Yash Dhull (captain) , Harnoor Singh, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, SK Rasheed, Nishant Sindhu, Siddarth Yadav, Aneeshwar Gautam, Dinesh Bana (wk), Aaradya Yada, Raj Angad Bawa, Manav Parakh, Kaushal Tambe, RS Hangargekar, Vasu Vats, Viky Ostwal, Ravikumar, Garv Sangwan.
