India Surpasses Brazil; Records 90,802 COVID-19 Cases In Last 24 Hours

New Delhi: India surpassed Brazil and has become the second-highest country after it registered 90,802 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours on Monday.
According to the health bulletin which was released, there are 42,04,613 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 71,642 fatality rate.
It was reported that almost 1,016 people were infected with the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the country which took the fatality rate of the COVID-19 cases up to 1.70 per cent.
India has overhauled Brazil which witnessed 41,37,521 cases and the United States (US) is currently the worst-hit country with total coronavirus cases of 62,77,004, according to reports by Johns Hopkins University’s Coronavirus Resource Center.
The striking outbreak in the coronavirus cases has infected over 2,71,15,056 people around the world with almost 8,89,037 death cases due to the coronavirus.
However, almost 1,81,33,725 people have been recovered from the virus as of now. Brazil has the most number of recovered cases, which is also followed by India with 23,15,995 cases and US 8,40,997.
