New Delhi: A clandestine intrusion into Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang by Chinese forces across the Line of Actual Control last week was successfully thwarted by their Indian counterparts according to reports.
Sources tell ANI, “There was a face-off in Arunachal Sector last week between soldiers of India & China as there is a difference in perception of Line of Actual Control.”
They add that the a major scuffle was averted with the two sides entering into an amicable settlement. “The engagement between the two sides lasted for a few hours & was resolved as per the existing protocols. There was no damage caused to own defences in the engagement,” defence sources inform.
