Lucknow: India’s captain in the ODI series against South Africa, KL Rahul, is one of the three players picked by the Lucknow IPL franchise on Tuesday. Australian allrounder Marcus Stoinis and uncapped Indian leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi will also join the Lucknow team.
According to ESPNcricinfo, the Lucknow franchise will go into the February auction with INR 60 crore purse — Rahul will cost them INR 15 crore, Stoinis INR 11 crore, and Bishnoi INR 4 crore. Rahul is tipped to lead the franchise.
Meanwhile, India allrounder Hardik Pandya, Afghan leg-spinner Rashid Khan and Indian opener Shubman Gill are set to be a part of the Ahmedabad franchise for the coming IPL season.
