Mumbai: Was Balika Vadu actor Sidharth Shukla on drugs? Is it drug abuse that caused his untimely death?
According to an old YouTube video that is back doing the rounds after Sidharth’s death, the Bigg Boss winner was reportedly high on drugs during the shoot of the TV soap Dil Se Dil Tak.
As per the video, s source informed a portal that Sidharth used to take a substance on the set that led him to lose his temper often. He would frequently run into verbal duels with his co-stars including Rashami Desai and things came to such an impasse that he was asked by the producers to leave the show following complaints by his co-actors.
In fact, Sidharth had taken a medicine last night after which he never woke up as per Cooper Hospital sources. There are rumours that Sidharth could have used drugs which led to his death at the age of 40. There are reports that he came home very late yesterday and then took a pill. One of the windows of his Mercedes was spotted broken too. Such stories are bound to soar speculations on his death.
Showbiz and drug abuse have an age-old connect. A strong drug angle was brought into to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Bollywood superstars like Sanjay Dutt, Ranbir Kapoor, Manisha Koirala and others have all been under the influence of drugs at some point of time or the other, so we may not be shocked if Siddharth’s drug abuse stories turn out to be authentic.
The cat will be out of the bag soon, we hope and it is time that the truth was unravelled soon. The alleged nexus between drug peddlers and actors should be exposed or else, talent will be lost in oblivion.
Bigg Boss host and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan tweeted his condolences on Siddharth’s death.
