Kolkata: Never ever mess around with Bhai directly or indirectly. He may not be vindictive, but the person at the other end is in the soup someway or the other. This time it’s no Vivek Oberoi or Arijit Singh but CISF ASI Somnath Mohanty who is feeling the heat for being diligent, it seems.
Mohanty made headlines when he stopped Bollywood superstar Salman Khan for security check at the Mumbai airport, the video of which went viral. Now according to a news report in The New Indian Express, Mohanty’s phone has been confiscated for allegedly violating official protocols.
The reason – he was seen conversing with the media after the incident. The phone was seized to bar him from divulging more details with the media, as per the report.
Salman and Katrina Kaif were at the airport to catch a flight to Russia for the shoot of Yash Raj Films’ Tiger 3 when Mohanty asked the megastar to go through the mandatory procedure.
It would be unfair to pass the buck to Salman and the matter should be probed, but deep down, Mohanty could be lamenting for being strict. What say?
