Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut is never the one to be reluctant to speak her mind and heart and when it comes to her ideologies, the Himachali lady’s soft corner for Hindutva is always conspicuous.
Here she goes again espousing the cause of reestablishing Ram Rajya at a time when rituals of Hinduism are scoffed at for brand promotions.
Kangana’s outburst is her mild outburst against a recent commercial featuring actress Alia Bhatt where she is seen requesting all to do away with the practice of kanyadaan during marriage.
Not to stay mum, Kangana posted a long letter on Instagram objecting to the content of the ad and asking everyone including Alia not to play around conventional rituals for marketing gains.
“When they start to look down upon the very idea of daan…then you know it is time for reestablishment if Ram Rajya…Please stop mocking Hindus and their rituals” she wrote.
In the comments section she mentioned tagging Alia and the companies behind the commercial, “Humble request to all brands…don’t use religion, minority, majority politics to sell things…Stop manipulating naive consumer with shrewd divisive concepts and advertising…”
