Mumbai: Kartik Aaryan burst on the scene with comic capers like the Pyaar Ka Punchnama series and Sonu Ke Tittu Ki Sweety. However, since then he has also worked in dramas and other genres and has excelled. Now, coming up among others is Ram Madhvani’s Dhamaka and the director is all praise for him.
Speaking about Kartik, Ram in an interview to a leading entertainment portal, shared, “I don’t know what it is. I can feel the excitement. Maybe it has to do with Kartik’s humongous fan-following.”
Ram continued saying, “He surrendered himself to his part. There is a hunger in him to excel as an actor. That craving worked well for the film. I believe Kartik has given a performance that will be talked about for a long time.”
And he added, “I shoot my films by the 360-degree technique which entails the use of multiple cameras. Kartik had never worked that way. He adapted himself to my way of working. I’ve just been so lucky with my actors.”
Dhamaka was shot in a record 10 days and is a newsroom drama. The movie is expected to release around Diwali. Though there are no confirmations of the same, a mood poster was unveiled by Kartik recently and the fans were much hyped up about the film.
