Kolkata Police Detect Multiple Bombs In City’s Entally Area

Kolkata: Kolkata Police tracked down various bombs from the city’s Entally area Police Station limits on Saturday, January 2, 2021. The Kolkata unit of the Military intelligence had shared the information with the Kolkata Police. After investigation, an under-construction building at 2/1B, Sir Syed Ahmed Road a specific road at the corner of the ground floor was found under the radar.
Two officers of Military Intelligence from Fort William came to the Kolkata Police Station and asked for their support for working on the particular information around 1:45 pm on Saturday.

In the course of the raid, several bombs were discovered. Two boxes were pointed out and were kept in the storage area above the entry gate of the room. When those boxes were brought down 22 crude-type bombs were found.
The Brent-ford Duvet Squad (BDS) and Detective Department (DD) seized the bomb and kept in a safe place. The Special Task Force (STF) was also a part of the investigation. Further investigations are underway.
