Kozhikode: Jasna Saleem may be a Muslim by birth but her creative pursuit transcends religious barriers. Take this – the Kerala girl has to her credit over 500 Lord Krishna paintings in great demand.
“I’ve been painting Krishna’s portraits for six years now. Before that, I’ve not drawn anything in my life. But it feels as Krishna’s image is imprinted in my mind for years,” says Jasna to ANI.
And she adds “Last week I got a chance to unveil one of my Krishna paintings in Ulayanad Sreekrishna temple and it was for the first time in my life that I went inside a temple and saw the idol.”
Do our politicians who indulge in divisive politics for el electoral gains, learn a lesson or two from her?
