Mumbai: Legendary Pakistani comedian Umer Sharif (66) passed away today in Germany after battling with several ailments for long.

A pioneer in his own right, Sharif was a master when it came to tickling the funny bone. He started his career at the nascent age of 14. Indian comedian Kapil Sharma posted his condolences on Twitter.
Sharif was born in Karachi in 1955 and earned popularity during the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s as an actor, a director and producer.
