New Delhi: Nobel Laureate and activist Malala Yousafzai married a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official Aseer Malik in an intimate event in the United Kingdom’s Birmingham city on Tuesday.
Malala posted photos of the ceremony along with her husband Asser Malik and families.
“Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life. We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families. Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead,” cricket fan Malala posted on Twitter and shared images.

Malik is from Lahore and is an entrepreneur and the general manager of the PCB’s High Performance Centre. He was apparently also associated with a Pakistan Super League franchise and had owned a player management agency.
