“The Chinese PLA has handed over the young boy from Arunachal Pradesh Shri Miram Taron to Indian Army. Due procedures are being followed including the medical examination,” tweeted Rijiju.
Earlier, China’s People Liberation Army (PLA) had confirmed that teenager Taron would be repatriated to the Indian side. The delay in repatriating him was attributed to bad weather conditions in the mountainous area.
