Chandigarh: The drama over Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu’s resignation doesn’t seem to end as the former cricketer-turned-lawmaker’s camp put forth some conditions for his withdrawal.

According to India Today, sources claim that Sidhu is ready to reconsider his resignation provided these criteria are fulfilled and we quote India Today:

According to sources, the Sidhu camp has made it clear that resignation will not be taken back until:

1. Tainted minister Rana Gurjit Singh is removed from cabinet

2. DGP IPS Sahota is replaced. As SIT chief, IPS Sahota had given a clean chit to the accused in Behbal Kalan firing case.

3. Advocate General APS Deol is removed. As counsel for the accused in Behbal Kalan case, he had secured blanket bail for former DGP Sumedh Saini

Meanwhile, Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi has spoken to the miffed leader and asked him to have discussions over the imbroglio. Sidhu himself posted a video earlier in the day where he threw light on the reasons behind his sudden move. So, it’s all happening!
