Patna: Former Chief Minister of Bihar and NDA ally in Bihar Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) president, Jitan Ram Manjhi has objected to using the Prime Minister’s photograph on vaccination certificates.
Intensifying his attack on the PM, Manjhi said that PM Modi’s photograph should be printed on death certificates of those patients who died due to corona in India.
“Prime Minister is taking credit for corona vaccination in the country, his photograph should also be printed on death certificates of those patients who died due to corona in the country. It will be the real justification,” Manjhi wrote on Twitter on Monday.
Manjhi on Sunday suggested that the photograph of the President or the Chief Minister of respective states should be printed on vaccination certificates.
Manjhi’s scathing attack on PM Modi is significant in the context of Bihar politics as he is considered very close to CM Nitish Kumar. Manjhi contested the Bihar Assembly election in 2020 on the seats allocated by JDU and won 4.
