Oval: It’s yet another feather to the illustrious cap of the Hitman. Yes, Rohit Sharma now had the distinction of completing 11,000 international runs opening the innings across all formats. He achieved the feat at Oval on Saturday. Rohit took 246 innings to reach the magic figure, only preceded by Sachin Tendulkar (241) innings.
Rohit was also the second quickest (219 innings) to enter the 10,000 club as an opener that too behind Tendulkar (214 innings). Rohit during his unbeaten stay in the middle at Oval yesterday also scored his 15,000th international run.
Get going, Hitman!
