Tokyo: Shooter Manish Narwal has clinched yet another gold for India at the ongoing Tokyo Paralympics while Singhraj Adhana bagged the silver at the same event. The two shooters did India proud at the P4 -Mixed 50 M Pistol SH1 event on Saturday. Singhraj now has two medals at the ongoing Paralympics. India now have three gold medals at the Tokyo gala.
“Glory from the Tokyo #Paralympics continues. Great accomplishment by the young and stupendously talented Manish Narwal. His winning the Gold Medal is a special moment for Indian sports. Congratulations to him. Best wishes for the coming times,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is slated to meet all Paralympic medal winners on September 9, congratulated Narwal on Twitter.
Hailing Singhraj’s achievement, Modi said, “The outstanding Singhraj Adhana does it again! He wins yet another medal, this time in the Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 event. India rejoices due to his feat. Congrats to him. Wishing him the very best for the future endeavours.”
Meanwhile, Pramod Bhagat also clinched a gold in badminton singles SL3 with Manoj Sarkar bagging the bronze taking India’s medal tally to 17.
