Mumbai: Actor Jagesh Mukati, who has been part of many popular TV shows and films like ‘Amita ka Amit’, ‘Shree Ganesh’ and ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ died on Wednesday (June 10) in Mumbai. According to reports, he was admitted to the hospital for the last three-four days and had developed breathing problems.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Ambika Ranjankar, who has worked with him in the past mourned the sudden demise of her late co-star and shared an emotional post on Instagram and wrote “Kind, supportive and terrific sense of humour… gone too soon…May your soul attain sadgati. Om Shanti. Jagesh, you’ll be missed dear friend.”

Marathi actor Abhishek Bhalerao also shared his solicitude for Jagesh and his family. “RIP actor Jagesh Mukati. Om Shanti. Sending strength to his 81-year-old mother & rest of the family,” he tweeted.
Meanwhile, Cine And TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) also expressed grief over the actor’s death and posted a condolence message. Jagesh Mukati was CINTAA’s member since December 2008. Jagesh, who has acted in Hindi TV shows and films was also popularly known in the Gujarati theatre.
