T20I Series Vs NZ: India Complete Clean Sweep With 73-Run Win

Kolkata: India defeated New Zealand by 73 runs in the third and final T20I to complete a 3-0 sweep at the Eden Gardens here on Sunday.

Opting to bat, Rohit Sharma scored 56 off 31 balls while Ishan Kishan contributed 29 off 21 balls. India posted 184/7 after the allotted 20 overs. Martin Guptill’s 51 off 36 balls wasn’t enough as New Zealand could only manage 111 all out in 17.2 overs.

Left-arm spinner Axar Patel snared three wickets.
