Kabul: Taliban Supremo Haibatullah Akhundzada is all set to helm the new Afghan government which will also have a Prime Minister, ANI reported.
Tolo News quotes Anamullah Samangani, member, Taliban’s Cultural Commission as saying, “Mullah Haibatullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Taliban will also be the leader of the new Islamic government that will be a model for the people. There is no doubt about his presence in the set up.”
The formation of the new government will be announced on September 3. Meanwhile the Taliban have given permission to the national cricket team to play its maiden Test against Australia at Hobart between November 27 and December 1.
