Srinagar: Terrorists shot dead a 35-year-old woman — a TikTok artist — in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday. The woman’s 10-year-old nephew also suffered grievous injuries in the attack. According to the police, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists carried out the attack.
“At around 7.55 pm, terrorists fired one lady Amreen Bhat at her home. She was shifted to hospital in injured condition where doctors declared her dead,” Kashmir Zone Police was quoted as saying by NDTV.
The police said the nephew of the woman, Farhan Zubair, also got injured in the incident. The cops cordoned off and launched a hunt to nab the attackers.
In the last 24 hours, this is the second targeted attack. Terrorists shot a cop outside his home in Srinagar on Tuesday. The attack also injured his seven-year-old daughter, who apparently rushed to save her father.
