Tokyo: India’s star shuttler PV Sindhu got the bronze medal in women’s singles badminton at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 here on Sunday.
Sindhu got the better Chinese He Bingjao 21-13 21-15 at the Musashino Forest Sports Plaza to bring India’s medal at the Olympics.
It is also Sindhu’s second Olympic medal after she got the silver medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016. By virtue of this, she also became the first Indian woman to win two Olympic medals.
