Mumbai: While commenting on a picture of Virendra Sehwag on Instagram, BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly said that the former India opener’s show ‘Viru Ki Baithak’ was one of the reasons behind IPL 2020 getting high ratings.

In each episode, Sehwag presented his personal analysis of all pre and post-match events through his social media handles. The show became a hit in no time and netizens got glued to the unique presentation skills of Sehwag.

“You r wanting match and good-looking… one of many causes of IPL rankings so excessive was becoz of Veeru ka baithak,” wrote Ganguly on Shehwag’s post.

This year’s IPL was entirely arranged in UAE due to the rising cases of COVID-19 in India.

The event was staged under strict bio-secure bubble with BCCI’s rigid health protocols in place.
