Kolkata: An unbeaten century (100*) from Vivek Singh helped Bengal collect full points in their second tie of Group B of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy at Eden Gardens on Tuesday. They beat Jharkhand by 16 runs.
Opting to bat first, Bengal made 161 for six and in reply, Jharkhand could only manage 145 for nine at the end of allotted 20 overs.
Vivek dedicated his maiden ton to his father Birendra Singh. “It was satisfying to hit a century to a winning cause of Bengal.
