Kolkata: West Bengal board exams 2021 for class 10 (secondary) and class 12 (senior secondary) students, is reportedly likely to commence in June next year.
However, no official statement or schedule of the exams have not been declared yet.
All schools and colleges of West Bengal have been shut since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but online classes are being conducted.
Due to the closure of schools for eight months, there is a lot of uncertainty among students regarding the dates of the board exams.
Earlier, the state education minister Partha Chatterjee had announced that the Bengal government has decided to accept the expert recommendations to reduce the board exam 2021 syllabus for classes 10 and 12 due to the pandemic.
